Successful opening - Kick-Off Meeting "Rate Quotation 2011"Frankfurt, July 2010 - 140 partners from the hospitality industry, 19 Travel Managers and 18 DERTOUR employees - Despite summer holidays and heat wave more participants than ever joined the Kick-Off Meeting for the Corporate/Customized Programmes in Frankfurt.
Even this year the established event formed the beginning of the hotel purchase for 2011. DERTOUR and 11 business customers introduced themselves and the important amendments in the rate quotation process for 2011. Between Plenum and Workshops the paricipants, of course, had the chance for a sincere exchange of thoughts. And to thank for the great cooperation in the past turbulent year DERTOUR raffled travel vouchers to the satisfied audience.
Virtual both - FCm ExpoFrankfurt, September 2009 - Ratefinding is represented with its own both on the new virtual exhibition of FCm Travel Solutions.
At the FCm Expo the expert for business travel FCm Travel Solutions offers the first multimedia online exhibition in the business travel sector. Besides the possibility of accessing information, visitors are invited to join live presentations and workshops and to get in touch with various exhibitors.

New ratefinding.com presence – web design and purchasing application undergo complete revisionFrankfurt, June 2009 - A redesigned procurement application for 2010 hotel purchasing has been available on ratefinding.com since 1 June 2009, and the Internet presence itself has also undergone a revamp.
The Corporate Hotel Programmes Department at DERTOUR has taken the decision to update its procurement tool ratefinding.com in order to fulfil the requirements our customers have and in order to structure the rate finding process in an even more user-friendly and easily comprehensible manner. The new technology adds a number of areas of new functionality as well as making the procurement process self-evident for hotels and travel managers. Jochen Rathei, Director of the Corporate Hotel Programmes Department, expresses the following view. “The individual service we provide to our customers is just as essential as the ongoing further development of our ratefinding.com platform. Another aim in relaunching the procurement portal is to highlight our innovative strength and leading position on the German market to potential new customers.”
Lufthansa – two new programmes planned for 2010Lufthansa Seminar Programme and Lufthansa Layover Programme
Frankfurt, May 2009 - In the wake of the successful conclusion of 2009 hotel procurement using ratefinding.com, Lufthansa has taken the decision to extend the use of the online purchasing tool to two further programmes.
For the 2010 procurement season, deployment of ratefinding.com will be expanded beyond its present application to the Lufthansa Hotel Programme to include the Lufthansa Layover Programme and the Lufthansa Seminar Programme. The aim of the Lufthansa Layover Programme is to process hotel rates for overnight stays by Lufthansa and customers. The planned Lufthansa Seminar Programme is directed at specialist conference hotels located in Germany.
Deutsche Bahn – new Deutsche Bahn MICE Programme off to a successful start in 2009Frankfurt, February 2009 - The successful cooperation agreement which has been in place between Deutsche Bahn and DERTOUR since 2006 underwent further expansion in 2008 when it was determined that ratefinding.com would also be used to conduct contract negotiations for the Deutsche Bahn MICE Programme (Meeting, Incentive, Congress and Event) for the 2009 procurement season. Staff from the company booking accommodation within this programme currently enjoy a choice of over 300 hotels in Germany.

Bayer Group – a new ratefinding.com customer since autumn 2008Frankfurt, January 2009 - Bayer AG, a company which operates on a worldwide basis in the fields of health, nutrition and high-quality materials, has taken the decision to process its 2009 international hotel procurement via ratefinding.com.
The Bayer AG Group has been acting in conjunction with the Corporate Hotel Programmes Department at DERTOUR to use ratefinding.com for the 2009 rate finding process. The company has also decided that DERTOUR’s ratefinding.com online procurement tool will also be used for hotel purchasing in 2010 and 2011. The online negotiations conducted for 2009 resulted in the conclusion of agreements with in excess of 1,900 hotels.
Lufthansa – a new ratefinding.com customer since autumn 2008Frankfurt, Dezember 2008 - 2009 hotel procurement for our new customer Lufthansa was brought to a satisfactory conclusion, resulting in a final hotel portfolio of 150 hotels worldwide.
Lufthansa‘s decision to enter into cooperation with DERTOUR by using ratefinding.com to manage procurement for the 2009 hotel programme was taken in the autumn of 2008. The company will also be working in conjunction with the Corporate Hotel Programmes Department at DERTOUR and using ratefinding.com to conduct the forthcoming hotel procurement for the 2010 hotel programme.
